In an early morning vision, I was shown turbulent waters and people trying to walk and drive through them onto the highways. The entry ramps, exit ramps and highways were all covered in deep rough waters. The word I heard was “turbulent”.
People’s vehicles were sinking in the water and they were having to abandon their vehicles. As I approached with those with me, someone stood to the side of the road as their car sank and asked, “What are you going to do?” I took the hands of those I was traveling with and said, “We will have to have faith and walk on the waters.” I took their hands and we began to walk on the waters onto the highway.
I was then shown an example from the book The Pilgrims Progress by John Bunyan. I was shown the bondage of some pilgrims locked in the Castle of Despair prison. In the vision, this was a despair of circumstances caused from the turbulence.
They were quickly shown that the way of escape was with the key of faith. Not only did they have the key of faith, but that they needed to use it in order to escape the Castle of Despair. Once they did, they were told to run quickly and to not fall asleep in the enchanted ground that lay ahead.
Hebrews 12:1-2 KJV
12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
As we approach turbulent times, hold on to your faith in God! Faith is the key, to the escape!
1 Peter 1:20-21 KJV
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
