At the end of August, I (Christina) was given a dream about New York. In the dream, I saw a beach in New York. It was nighttime, it was winter, and it was very cold. The beach of was full of people. I understood they were Believers who did not or could not leave in time. There was no food source; there were no preparations and people made tents out of bed sheets on the beach. They had no extra clothes (it was as if they were rushed out of their homes with no warning), they had no shoes, and they were starving. It was too cold go into the water. The people looked emaciated and were rummaging through trash to find old candy and old gift popcorn to put into stale pieces of bread that they found in the trash to try to make a sandwich. Some people had to carry others to the tents because they were so skinny and malnourished they could no longer walk – it was so sad to see. I understood in the dream that these people were not able or allowed to go home and were stuck living on this beach. I don’t know what prevented them from leaving or why they were relegated to this beach, but I understood the warning and they were unable to leave New York.
As, I awoke the Holy Spirit showed me that it was important that we pray for those in New York that are remnant Believers. Pray that those who God will warn to leave from this location will hear His voice and leave in time to the place God arranges for them, just like when God warned Joseph in the Bible when it was time to flee with Mary and Jesus when He was a young child. May they listen closely and hear in time so that may not be stuck in a difficult situation.
Matthew 2:13,“And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.”
We also need to heed the warning and pray that the Believers will minister the Gospel of peace during this time (shoes) and that they will not fall prey to false sugary good sounding doctrines (the candy and sugar gift popcorn) sandwhich between what the they think is the Gospel. Jesus is the Bread of life, and if people fall prey to the false gospel they will be left with stale bread that will not sustain them in the day of trouble. May Believers only feast on the Word of the God.
Revelation 3:14-22
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
