Jesus Gives Life

Jesus gives life, it is the devil who destroys and kills life. Whenever somebody is murdered or murders themself it is always demonically inspired. Jesus said in John 10:10:

John 10:10 (KJV)

¹⁰ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Galatians 5:21 (KJV)

²¹ Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelation 21:8 (KJV)

⁸ But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death

The Bible is clear that murder (the taking of life) is sin!

¹⁸ He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

Romans 13:9 (KJV)

⁹ For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Self-murder is sin. Even in the most difficult situations – the answer is always to come to Jesus for His healing and saving hands.

We know that those who commit suicide do not go to Heaven, as we can see from the Scriptures we just read. There is also the example of Judas – who committed self-murder being lost from salvation as well.

²⁴ The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

²⁵ Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.

John 17:12 (KJV)

¹² While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition (speaking of Judas); that the scripture might be fulfilled.

God is the giver of life! Our times are in His hands not our own.

Job 1:21 (KJV)

²¹ And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

God tell us in His Word to choose life!

Deuteronomy 30:15-20 (KJV)

¹⁵ See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

¹⁶ In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

¹⁷ But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

¹⁸ I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

¹⁹ I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

²⁰ That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them

Life is a precious gift from God!

Psalm 139:14 (KJV)

¹⁴ I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well

Each person has a purpose and a calling to fulfill. It is the desire of the enemy to cut that short and cause a person to not to walk in their God-given destiny.

Jeremiah 29:11-14a (GNV)

¹¹ For I know the thoughts, that I have thought towards you, saith the Lord, even the thoughts of peace, and not of trouble, to give you an end, and your hope.

¹² Then shall you cry unto me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hear you,

¹³ And ye shall seek me, and find me, because ye shall seek me with all your heart.

¹⁴ And I will be found of you, saith the Lord….

If someone has been overwhelmed by discouragement, where the lies of the enemy are pressuring them to sin in this manner, they should be reminded of what the Bible says to do to overcome the plan of the enemy.

James 4:7 (KJV)

⁷ Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 Peter 5:8-10 (KJV)

⁸ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

⁹ Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

¹⁰ But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Our hope must be in the Lord Jesus Christ!

You are special to God and are created with a great purpose to live for His glory. Do not let the enemy deceive you and seal your eternity in Hell. Choose life and to live your life for Jesus Christ!

God loves you and made a way for you to have hope and over come through the power and blood of Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 (KJV)

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
