Elohim or Trinity?

There are several forms that God has revealed Himself to humanity in The Holy
Bible. We see that He is: The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost, The Word, The Lamb
of God, The Lion of the tribe of Judah. In this study, we’re only going to touch on
what Scripture refers to as “The Godhead.”

As Christians, we believe in only one true God. God reveals/manifests Himself to us
in several different forms: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost and these three
are ONE (see 1 John 5:7 KJV).

The Holy Bible is very clear that Yahweh is One God, not three Gods! We are
not to follow the Catholic doctrine of the “Trinity,” which teaches God in three
“persons”. A person is an individual. We do not have three individual Gods!
We have One God. He is Yahweh and He reveals Himself to us in several
forms. Nowhere in the Scriptures does the Holy Bible ever say, God in “three
Persons” or “Trinity” as the Catholics teach.

Please see 1 John 5:7 King James Version (if you read it in most of the modern false
translations, half of the verse has been omitted.)

1 John 5:7 KJV “ For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the
Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

If the above verse would have said, and these three agree, that would mean three
Gods. Yet, notice that it says, “and these three are ONE.” We do not pray to “they/
them,” we pray to “Him,” the one, individual God. Three different persons would
indicate – three Gods – polytheism. The false teaching of the “trinity” is also why
the Muslims accuse Christians of believing in three Gods! We have only one God, and
He reveals Himself to us in the forms of: “the Father, the Word (Yahshua in the
Flesh), and the Holy Ghost.”

According to the Gospel of John chapter 1, we see in verse 1, “In the beginning was
the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Then in verse
14 we see that, “the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.” this is
describing the Lord Yahshua/Jesus the Messiah), He Himself is God!

Colossians 2:9 KJV
“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”

John 10:30 KJV
“I and my Father are one.

He is One God, not three Gods, not three persons, but ONE!

Just to give some understanding of “Elohim,” the Hebrew word for God, in plural
form:
You are an individual person, a human being, created in the image and
likeness of Elohim (see Genesis 1:26). You being one person, have three
forms that make you a human. You have a spirit, a soul, and a body. Yet, you
are one. You are not three individual persons, but one! In the same way, I am
a husband to my wife, a father to my children, and a son to my parents. Yet, I
am one individual person, with one personality, not three.

Similarly, just as H2O/water can take on three forms; solid form of ice,
liquid form of water, and vapor form of steam and yet it is still H2O/water. We
need to understand that God is not three persons. He is one person, He is ONE God.

We can see that we have One God with three forms/offices/ three ways that the Godhead relates to us, in a threefold manifestation: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

He is our Creator and Father, He is our Lord and Savior, He is our Comforter
and Counselor!

1 Timothy 3:16 KJV “16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed
on in the world, received up into glory.”

“God was manifest in the flesh,” that did NOT make Him another God, another
person. He, Himself is, God shown to us in the form of the flesh!

There are a lot of false teachings out there, which is why we must believe in sound doctrine. All of our beliefs must line up with the Word of God.
