The Peace of Jerusalem

Word received by Joseph while in prayer on October 03, 2025 – PROPHETIC WORD – THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM

(To the Church)

“You have prayed for the peace of Jerusalem, yet there will be no peace. Shall there be rest for the wicked, or peace without repentance? For their many abominations and for their whoredoms, they are surrounded on every side. Yet in all of this they have not acknowledged Me, therefore, I will increase their troubles and multiply their hardships. They want peace, but a false peace.”

Pray for Israel!

Many pray from Psalm 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”

Will God give them peace to continue in sin, so that they can continue rejecting the Messiah?

The Psalm 122:6 passage is often taken out of context by the Church, usually out of covertness, in order to be blessed by God, or out of idolatry towards the people. But if we truly love Israel, we must pray from their salvation, that they would be Born-again!

The only true peace that they will have is in the Messiah, Yeshua, the Lord Jesus! There will be no true peace without Him.

“No Christ, no peace.

Know Christ, know peace!” – (author unknown)

A better way is to pray for repentance and salvation, that there may be peace!

As we love Israel and the people, praying for the peace of Jerusalem is a prayer that will not be answered until they repent and put their faith in Yeshua, the Lord Jesus. Apart from Him, there will be no true peace.

John 14:6 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jeremiah 3:13-15 KJV 13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord. 14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: 15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Jeremiah 6:14-17KJV 14 They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. 15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the Lord.16 Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. 17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

Jeremiah 23:17, 22 KJV17 They say still unto them that despise me, The Lord hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

The Lord Jesus bless and keep you!

Joseph
