Come Out of Compromise

May 28, 2025

On Wednesday, I had a dream and in it there was a group of Christians. I recognized an associate pastor at a particular church. (Please don’t write me to ask if it’s about you or assume who or where, as we are connected with many ministers all around the US and abroad.) This pastor and this group of believers, the way that they talked and communicated was just crude. I was so surprised with the words that were coming out of this pastors mouth along with his conduct. So, I gave him some correction and then the dream transitioned to another minister, from a different church that I know, and he was casually cursing, just out of his mouth would flow curse words, unashamedly cursing as if it was just his normal, regular speech. I was so surprised and I corrected him similar to the way I did to the associate pastor that I confronted before him. I was telling him, “How can you as a minister of God let these words, this foul speech come out of your mouth?”

Then I immediately work up and as I woke up, there was vomit that came up into my mouth. (This never happens to me, I wasn’t sick, I don’t have acid reflex or anything like that.) Vomit came up into my mouth, I went to the restroom and I was just asking the Lord, what was that all about (the dream and the vomit coming up like that as I woke up.) He then said to me very clearly, “ In the same way, I will vomit the lukewarm out of My Mouth.” I was then reminded about the Church of the Laodiceans in Revelation 3.

14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Revelation 3:14-16 KJV

Christians need to live for God without compromise! The Lord will not tolerate lukewarm living in His Church. God requires Holiness!

14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:”

(1 Peter 1:14-17 KJV)

34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

(Matthew 12:34-37 KJV)

Christians can’t curse, drink, smoke, live a life of vanity and compromise and think that they are still saved. “You will know them by their fruit.” Those who live that lifestyle, are lukewarm at best. The Lord is calling His Church to Holiness, to live a life a purity, completely devoted to Him and His ways. My prayer is that those in the body of Christ who are deceived will come out of deception and live on fire for the Lord.

The Lord Jesus Bless and Keep You,
