Fenced Cities

Fenced Cities

In a night vision, I was shown a particular city of refuge. In this place, I saw my husband and I talking with an angel that was showing us the city. As we looked around, the entire place was built with tall wooden privacy fences with large gaps in between each wood slat allowing in water and weather. Each home was also built out of wooden fences. Because of the gaps, the wood was rotted and windy drafts could blow into each home.

My husband said, “I really don’t like any of these homes or neighborhoods, there are fences everywhere, these are not built rightly”.

The angel, said, “Don’t worry about how it looks right now, the Builder is coming and He will tear down all the fences and rebuild the entire city. Use your voice now and help the people to prepare for the Builder to come. Use your voice to tear down the offenses that have kept people from God and from working together. And when the Builder comes help Him to build the proper homes. Remember how it looks right now is not how it will be and you will help to build a proper city.”

As, I prayed about this, the Lord began showing me how much He hates the offenses and pride that some believers are walking in. They build fences around themselves in pride and lack the love and unity of the Brethren. They go to places of refuge, but rather than work with the Body of Christ, they tear each other apart and devour one another. Let us pray that the Body of Christ will begin to lay down any pride and offenses towards one another and begin to build the House of God in love and humility.

Proverbs 18:19, “A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.”

Psalm 133:1 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Blessings,
